The son of a Treviso farmer, Michele Pavanello is a widely acclaimed Italian specialty chef who has won awards and fans for his dedication to serving good Italian food. Before OTTO, Michele helmed the kitchens at Pontini and Il Lido as well as other Italian restaurants worldwide. Having worked in many places around the world, Michele brings to OTTO years of varied experience, a fresh perspective and exciting new dishes. These include a crispy suckling pig dish, Hokkaido scallop carpaccio and five new desserts. Expect to see OTTO’s menu infused with ingredients from the 41-year-old’s native Veneto region as well.
